Understanding the $BINGO Winnings Distribution Formula
Jackpot Win:
If you hit all 5 numbers, congratulations, you've won the jackpot! You take home 100% of the net pot, which is the total pot minus a 10% game fee.
Tiered Wins:
If no one wins the jackpot, don't worry; we still have something for you! Your winnings are based on specific tiers that correspond to the number of correct numbers you hit. The tiers and their respective portions of the net pot are as follows:
Tier 2 (4 numbers): 50% of the net pot
Tier 3 (3 numbers): 25% of the net pot
Tier 4 (2 numbers): 15% of the net pot
Tier 5 (1 number): 10% of the net pot
Players who fall into these tiers will share the corresponding percentage of the net pot. For instance, if two players fall into Tier 2, they will each take home half of the 50% allocated to that tier.
Redistribution of Remaining Funds:
If there are any unclaimed funds in the net pot—because no players fell into certain tiers—those remaining funds will be equally redistributed to all players in the game, winners and losers alike.
Terms Explained:
Net Pot: This is what remains of the total pot after a 10% game fee has been deducted.
Example:
Imagine you're in a game with the following statistics:
Total Pot: 1000 $BINGO
Fees (10%): 100 $BINGO
Net Pot: 900 $BINGO
Let's say one player hits Tier 2 (taking 50% or 450 $BINGO) and two players hit Tier 4 (sharing 15% or 135 $BINGO each).
Remaining Pot for Redistribution: 315 $BINGO (900 - 450 - 135 - 135)
This remaining 315 $BINGO would be redistributed to all 5 players, yielding an additional 63 $BINGO for each player, regardless of whether they won in any other tier.
